You make me laugh so much that the water rises to my eyes. You didn’t even realize how much this kind of silliness makes me laugh. I wonder what’s in this drink? That cook is absolutely hilarious; the housemaid obviously can’t keep her laughter in check either.
The food was indeed at first something you didn’t know what to make of; fortunately you came with an open mind. The cook came over to sit in your lap…it made you blush…he probably would have fed you too…
Well, I guess he doesn’t do this to everyone; you must have been particularly special to him. The guy next to me said that you never know what this chef comes up with with his wife. And that’s okay; the food was really good and the drinks too. Fast forward a couple of hours and we got the culture down as well.
Nature retreat
The retreat leader Anne Suvia, a yoga teacher who is inspired by our folk traditions and nature. She not only taught the movement, but transported the participants back in time to a time when every tree had spirit and the song had power.
The first practice took place on soft sand. We grounded ourselves to the ground below. In nature yoga, every breath felt as if the fresh air from the forest clearing had purified my lungs to the deepest parts. My eyes were closed and I was enjoying it.
The mealtime was fun. The kitchen staff had prepared their own dishes from the natural ingredients, such as nettle soup, herb pie and poppy seed biscuits. We also let them have a taste, as he said.
The yoga session continued, but this time we had wine in our hands. The liberating laughter was just as important for the soul as the relaxation of the body. I had never done pair yoga before and now I got to try that too. We had fun, even though I didn’t know anyone personally, I felt like I belonged to the group.
During the break we had a small reflection task and I did it by the campfire. We were quiet at that moment. Finally, we did a small ritual of letting go of the things that no longer served us anymore.
At the end of the retreat day we did an energizing yoga practice and got to try something new – special chair yoga. The chair was designed specifically for yoga. It was nice that it was a bit of a departure from the usual routine of a yoga retreat.
At the end of the day, everyone had received something: peace, joy, freedom. The body had received it. The heart had heard it.

Yoga retreat overnight
In addition to the overnight stay at the wilderness lodge, we will also do a full moon tour around Lake Savojärvi (6 km), while doing nature yoga at the same time. During the rest of the time, the nature yoga tour will be done in the morning while flying over Lake Savojärvi on a kite.

Mysterious game of the manor
– The last guest-

In 1946, a spiritual session was held in the house, in which contact was made with the spirits of the people who had died in the war. The session was never completed, as one of the guests disappeared during the evening. It was never clear what happened to him. In 1990, during repairs to the house, the original guest list from the session was found. There were eight names on it, but there were nine more. Who was the last guest? What did he do before disappearing? Can you track him down?
A bigger group? No worries. You split into two teams. Who gets further in the solution wins.
